Following Leo, Virgo now takes its place in the south sky, rising high on the ecliptic
by 1:15 am Virgo's prominent stars are outlined by the next bull known
as 'Aurochs 13' , its dewlap becoming the bright star Spica.
The red horse, and galloping ponies, were painted over the original black outline bull many generations later, and do therfore not relate to this theory. |
